Information Technology Services will be distributing Java 7 Update 11 to fix a security problem in the Java software. Your computer will be updated automatically this evening (1/14/13).  If you had any open browsers before leaving last night, make sure to close and restart them before using Kronos.  The first time you log in to use Kronos, you will encounter one or more popup messages that you must answer in order to be able to use Kronos.  Below you will see samples of the popups and the action you should take.  Note that you may not encounter all of these popup messages.

If you see a browser message (at the bottom of your browser) asking if you want Internet Explorer to remember your password, you can answer either way (Yes or No) but you must answer the question in order to get to the next question.

You must click Allow for the Java SE Runtime update if prompted.

You will get prompted twice about running the application – you should click the box Do not show this again for this app and click Run.

Kronos should run normally once you have answered these questions.  As always if you need help please call 6411 (651) 290-6411 or send an email to it@wmitchell.edu
